How to enable the REST API

You need PalWorldSettings.ini. On a normal dedicated install it lives here:

PalServer/Pal/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/PalWorldSettings.ini

Hosted panels often show the same path under File Manager or Server / Advanced settings. (Native Linux binaries use .../Config/LinuxServer/ instead.)

Open that file (create it if needed. If its empty, copy the contents from DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini in the PalServer root first).

In OptionSettings=(...), set or confirm:

RESTAPIEnabled=True
RESTAPIPort=8212
AdminPassword="YourAdminPassword"

Save the file and restart the server so the API comes up.
Use REST IP:PORT like 1.2.3.4:8212. Same host you join on, just the REST port (default 8212), not the game port (8211).
Sign in here with that same AdminPassword (REST always uses user admin).

If Connect times out, the REST port is probably firewalled. Ask the host to open it, or just use this on servers you can actually reach.
